SASSI RETURNS TO BE THE NATURAL BACKDROP OF CHRIST’S BIRTH<\/strong><\/p>\n

With great excitement The Theatrical Sacred Representation of Nativity Scene comes back in six different representations: Annuncition, Visitation, Market, Synedrion, the Court of Herod and Nativity.<\/p>\n

During the years the Nativity scene Performance in Sassi has become the\u00a0flagship\u00a0<\/strong>of Christmas time in Matera, attracting thousands of visitors coming from every part of Italy.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>X edition of 2019, with the theme “Everything in that moment”, will be set up in a guided tour that will take place<\/span> from the old town to sasso Barisano. There will also be actors who will play out different scenes of the Jewish every day life of two thousands years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scheduled dates are the following:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Saturday 7,<\/strong> Sunday\u00a08 December 2019<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/span>\u2022 Saturday\u00a014<\/strong>, Sunday\u00a015 December 2019<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/span>\u2022 Saturday\u00a021<\/strong>, Sunday 22 December 2019<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Friday\u00a0<\/span>27<\/strong>, Saturday 28<\/strong>, Sunday 29 December 2019<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The access to the itinerary, with a duration of 90 minutes, is scheduled in time slots reserved to two types of visitors: individuals and groups<\/p>\n

This year, inside the Third Edition of the Nativity Scene National Exhibition there will be\u00a0Jesolo Sand Nativity<\/strong>, inside the exhibition area of ex\u00a0Ospedale San Rocco<\/strong>, in the old town. A poor material like sand, combined with water, becomes craft thanks to the work of expert hands. The Nativity tale takes shape by working the original sand of Italian Dolomites in a unique event.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will last one month, from December 7 to January 6 2020. It will be closed on December 25 2019 and January 1 2020.<\/p>\n

Opening times are <\/span>10:00-<\/b>21:00<\/b>. On D<\/strong><\/span>icember 24 2019<\/b> and <\/span>Dicember 31 2019<\/b> closing time will be moved up to 13:00.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visits of Nativity Scene will be allowed only during the indicated hours. For the event different packages are offered:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Nativity scene Performance + Nativity exhibition \u2013 <\/span>\u20ac 13,00<\/b>;<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u2022 Nativity sceen performance \u2013 <\/span>\u20ac 10,00<\/b>;<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u2022 Nativity Exhibition \u2013 <\/span>\u20ac 5,00<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The entrance is free<\/strong> for children up to 10<\/strong><\/p>\n
